The South Carolina Office of Economic Opportunity OEO has released the CARES Act Phase II NOFA. Additional resources and the original posting is available here: [http://oeo.sc.gov/resources.html](http://oeo.sc.gov/resources.html)

> The state of South Carolina Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) is issuing a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for Phase II of the ESG-CV Program, CFDA #14.231. Private nonprofit entities and current ESG and ESG-CV Phase I subgrantees are welcome to apply. Additional eligibility requirements and information on ESG-CV Phase II can be found in the NOFA, see the link below. Applicants must demonstrate programmatic and fiscal capacity. Proposals should show how the applicant will use ESG-CV Phase II funds for the purposes of preventing, preparing for, and responding to COVID-19 among individuals and families who are homeless or receiving homeless assistance, and to support additional homeless assistance and homelessness prevention activities to mitigate the impacts of COVID-19.

> HUD sent an award letter on June 9, 2020 to South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster stating that the state of South Carolina was being awarded a second allocation of ESG-CV funds in the amount of $18,346,818. All applicants are advised that OEO has not received the Funding Approval/Agreement signed by HUD for this allocation as of the posting date of this NOFA. Notices of Intent to Award and grant agreements will not be sent to successful applicants until OEO is in receipt of the Funding Approval/Agreement signed by HUD.
