| \| \\| El kit de herramientas de Participación ciudadana equitativa (CPEE) tiene como objetivo ayudar a los beneficiarios del programa CDBG-DR a centrar la equidad en los programas de recuperación de desastres a través de un proceso mejorado de participación ciudadana. El objetivo principal de la participación ciudadana es proporcionar a los residentes, especialmente a aquellos de ingresos bajos y moderados (LMI) de la comunidad donde se llevarán a cabo las actividades financiadas con fondos CDBG-DR, la oportunidad de participar activamente en la planificación, implementación y evaluación de los programas y proyectos. The primary objective of this new resource is to provide grantees with tools and strategies to assist residents—especially low- and moderate-income (LMI) persons, vulnerable populations, protected classes under fair housing and civil rights laws, and underserved communities impacted by a disaster—to actively participate in the planning, implementation, and assessment of CDBG-DR programs and projects.
