| \| \\| *This information was originally distributed via HUD.gov. HUD Exchange is redistributing the information for awareness.* \\| \\| --- \\| \| \| --- \| \| \\| \\| \\| --- \\| \| \| --- \| \| \\| The Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program Registration forms are now available in [e-snaps](https://hudexchange.us5.list-manage.com/track/click?u=87d7c8afc03ba69ee70d865b9&id=346fe4e5af&e=ae5fdc3d29) with a submission deadline **Thursday, April 7, 2022, at 5:00 PM EST**. For FY 2022, HUD updated *e-snaps* to include American Indian and Alaska Native (AIAN) Tribal area geographic codes and revised the Unified Funding Agency (UFA) application to ensure questions more closely align with [Notice CPD-22-02: CoC Program Registration Notice](https://hudexchange.us5.list-manage.com/track/click?u=87d7c8afc03ba69ee70d865b9&id=b38643ed5e&e=ae5fdc3d29) UFA requirements. Therefore, the FY 2022 CoC Program Registration did not open the second Tuesday of January as indicated in Notice CPD 22-02. In FY 2023 and beyond, unless otherwise notified, the CoC Program Registration process in *e-snaps* will open the second Tuesday of each January at 1:00 PM EST with a registration deadline of 5:00 PM EST on the first Thursday of March each year. \\| \\| --- \\| \| \| --- \| \| \\| \\| \\| --- \\| \| \| --- \| \| \\| ### Registration Requirements The CoC Program Registration requirements for the following types of registrations are located on HUD’s website: - [Notice CPD 22-02: CoC Program Registration](https://hudexchange.us5.list-manage.com/track/click?u=87d7c8afc03ba69ee70d865b9&id=6f04a55785&e=ae5fdc3d29) - [Notice CPD 22-01: UFA](https://hudexchange.us5.list-manage.com/track/click?u=87d7c8afc03ba69ee70d865b9&id=bdebe3bd8b&e=ae5fdc3d29) - [Notice CPD 22-03: Applying to be a High Performing Community](https://hudexchange.us5.list-manage.com/track/click?u=87d7c8afc03ba69ee70d865b9&id=17aea01ec7&e=ae5fdc3d29) \\| \\| --- \\| \| \| --- \| \| \\| \\| \\| --- \\| \| \| --- \| \| \\| ### Registration Forms Criteria Notice CPD 22-02 provides Collaborative Applicants, including Indian Tribes and Tribally Designated Housing Entities (TDHEs), with the information necessary to register a CoC in preparation for the annual FY CoC Program Competition and to claim CoC geographic areas, including Tribal lands and Reservations. Collaborative Applicants who meet one or more of the following criteria must access the FY 2022 CoC Program Registration forms in [e-snaps](https://hudexchange.us5.list-manage.com/track/click?u=87d7c8afc03ba69ee70d865b9&id=b8cad5a2cf&e=ae5fdc3d29). - **Newly formed CoCs** must submit the registration by the submission date to have access to the FY 2022 CoC Consolidated Application including the CoC Application, the CoC Priority Listing, and project applications. - **Changes from the FY 2021 CoC Program Competition**. CoC designated Collaborative Applicants that have changes from the FY 2021 CoC Program Competition (e.g., change in Collaborative Applicant, CoCs merged, claiming AIAN areas, change in geographic codes) must complete the registration forms to gain access to the FY 2022 CoC Consolidated Application when the CoC Program Competition opens later this year. - **Applying or Re-applying for UFA Designation**. UFA designations must be requested annually. All Collaborative Applicants with an existing FY 2021 UFA designation must complete the FY 2022 UFA application and attach the documentation as required in Notice CPD 22-01: Unified Funding Agency. If a Collaborative Applicant with an existing UFA designation does not complete the UFA Application forms with the FY 2022 CoC Program Registration, it will lose its UFA designation for FY 2022. - **Applying for HPC Designation**. Any Collaborative Applicant that intends to apply for HPC designation for the CoC must complete all forms and attach documentation as required in Notice CPD 22-03: Applying to be a High Performing Community. If an existing CoC has no changes from the previous year’s CoC Program Competition and the Collaborative Applicant chooses not to complete the registration forms, HUD will move the previous year’s CoC Program Registration information forward with no changes (see Section I of the [Notice CPD-22-02](https://hudexchange.us5.list-manage.com/track/click?u=87d7c8afc03ba69ee70d865b9&id=b89c8c20a0&e=ae5fdc3d29)).
