The sixth and final session in the Detection & Mitigation of COVID-19 in Homeless Service Sites and Other Congregate Facilities Office Hours Series is coming up on December 15, 2021, at 3:00 PM EST. This series highlights best practices for communities to prevent, prepare for, and respond to COVID-19.

Office Hours Objectives

Panelists from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and HUD will review:

  • COVID-19 preparedness planning for people experiencing homelessness, including a community example
  • Emerging practices and information about how those strategies can be funded through new and existing funding sources

Who Should Attend?

This webinar is primarily intended for Continuums of Care (CoCs), Public Health entities, and programs serving people experiencing homelessness. Frontline staff are welcome to attend; however, the content of this Office Hours will be focused on the planning and policy aspects of delivering effective testing strategies at the local level. Future Office Hours will highlight operational aspects.
