The 2022 CARES Act Virtual Conference taking place January 24–28, 2022, will provide workshop-style trainings to increase grantees capacity to meet the identified needs of the state or local government, targeting constituents who need assistance during, or economic recovery from, the COVID-19 Pandemic. The first two days of the conference include sessions for Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus (CDBG-CV), Emergency Solutions Grants Coronavirus (ESG-CV), and Housing Opportunities for Persons With HIV/AIDS Coronavirus (HOPWA-CV) programs and the last three days feature two concurrent Basically CDBG courses.
This conference is intended for all grantees that have applied for and received their allocation of HUD CARES Act funding in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Grantees should register and attend online sessions in real time. Participation in each Q&A portion is a vital part of the education process as we learn from each other on how we have prepared, prevented, and responded to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The training sessions will be recorded for future reference. There is no cost to register and attend this conference.
