New CDBG-DR Materials for 2020 and 2021 Disaster Grantees

New CDBG-DR Materials for 2020 and 2021 Disaster Grantees

HUD has published a table for Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) grantees that includes the Allocations Under Public Law 117-43 For Disasters Occurring in 2020 & 2021. The table includes the additional unmet needs and mitigation allocations as well as the “most impacted and distressed” (MID) areas for 2020 and 2021. This represents the final allocation of funds under Public Law 117-43.

On February 3, 2022, HUD published the 2020 CDBG-DR Notice with the rules and requirements for grantees receiving CDBG-DR funds for disasters occurring in 2020. In the coming weeks, HUD will publish a subsequent notice for the additional allocations. Webinar materials, training videos, fact sheets, and other grantee guidance and checklists can be found on the 2020 CDBG-DR Grantee page. Grantees receiving 2021 CDBG-DR grants will find these resources useful to review while waiting for the subsequent notice to be published. The newest materials available on the page are as follows:
