PIT Count Sampling and Estimating Tools Now Available

Many Continuums of Care (CoCs) conduct their unsheltered Point-in-Time (PIT) counts by sampling parts of their jurisdiction and by using those samples to derive a full estimate of people experiencing unsheltered homelessness. The PIT Count Sampling and Estimating Tools will help CoCs to develop a sampling approach and to estimate a total count of people in their geographies who are experiencing unsheltered homelessness on the night of the PIT count.
