HUD’s Office of Public and Indian Housing (PIH) invites Public Housing Authorities (PHAs), Continuum of Care (CoCs), Victim Services Providers (VSPs), and other partners to participate in Emergency Housing Voucher (EHV) Office Hours every other Tuesday from 3:00 – 4:00 PM EST.
The upcoming Office Hours on March 8, 2022 will focus on advancing equity in EHV implementation. EHVs provide an opportunity to narrow the gap on current inequities driven by structural and systemic racism and drive for impact in a way that promotes racial equity. The session will highlight key strategies and considerations for PHAs and partners to examine as they increase awareness and improve capacity to substantively change the way partners interact and conduct their work in order to address community needs equitably. In addition to showcasing presentations from communities and subject matter experts, HUD will be present at each office hour session to respond to EHV-related questions.
