The U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), and Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) are supporting Second Chance Month to help individuals, communities, and agencies across the country recognize the importance of reentry and their role in supporting safe and successful reentry.
The National Reentry Resource Center (NRRC) is hosting Second Chance Month. Together with the American Institutes for Research (AIR), Vera Institute of Justice, Council of State Governments (CSG) Justice Center, Research Triangle Institute (RTI) International, NRRC will provide resources, videos, podcasts, live learning events, and webinars during the month of April to support the justice field and Second Chance Act grantees with their reentry programs.
Events will focus on reentry basics, education, employment, housing, behavioral health, family supports, youth and young adults, and evaluation and sustainability.
